Taylor Swift wearing little white dresses on the red carpet
The white dress
Like Taylor Swift, I’m a huge fan of the little white dresses .They’re breezy, gorgeous, and effortlessly elegant – and no longer strictly limited to the beach or a fancy garden party. We are going to show some outfits to give you idea on how to wear them without looking like you’re about to dance around a meadow (not that there’s anything wrong with that, of course).

Little White Dress: Night Out

how to wear a little white dress for night with studded wedges gold feather earrings rose gold cross body bag pearl bangle and orange cocktail ring
This look is all about goddess-like glamor. Add some height and sparkle with gold embellished wedge heels, and accessorize with gorgeous gold statement jewelry like a pearl-embellished bangle and feather earrings. Try out a quilted rose gold cross-body bag to add a touch of sophistication to the look. Tie everything together with a pop of color like this beautiful orange statement ring.

As soon as the summer months roll around, I crave simpler dressing, and outfits that are more relaxed, while still being style-conscious. How many times have I looked enviously at the guys around me, coveting their carefree summer style?
If you’re like me and you want to channel the ease of the clothes sported by the boys in your life, look no further and envy no more! The outfits below are dedicated to the many boys that you see every summer .

1. The Boy Best Friend: Cozy V-Neck

Outfit inspired by your guy best friend: Loose tee shirt, boyfriend jeans, slip-ons, easy wrap bracelet
He’s the guy who will gladly give you a ride when you need it, put a smile on your face, and act as your surrogate older brother.
To channel his relaxed style, don a super soft v-neck tee in a mellow color. Add a little flare to the outfit with patterned Vans, a wrap bracelet and worn-in boyfriend jeans (emphasis on “friend”). This outfit is perfect for hanging around with your friends – guys included!

2. The Summer Fling: Hot Summer Dress

Outfit inspired by the Summer Fling: Coral minidress, white clutch, neon yellow heels, statement earrings

A summer fling is always fun and flirty, so, accordingly, this outfit is based around a fun, flirty dress that’s sure to turn heads.
The gorgeous tangerine color of this frock is both on-trend and super flattering, and the lace inserts are both sweet and subtly sexy. With summery yellow wedges to complement the dress’ straps, you don’t need bright accessories – grab a simple clutch and some fun earrings and you’re good to go for a night on the town.

3. The Lifeguard: White     Shorts

Lifeguard-inspired outfits: White shorts, sandals, bracelets, lifeguard tee, or white shorts, blouse, belt, statement accessories and nail polish
Left: | Right:
“The Lifeguard” is what I’ve dubbed every crush-worthy guy you admire from afar, whether he’s a lifeguard, the guy working the ring toss at the boardwalk or even like that hot guy from the music video call me maybe (Drool.) Channel the vibe of this summer species in two different ways, using white short-shorts as a starting point:
(on the left) keeps it simple, with white short-shorts and a lifeguard-inspired print tank – a subtle nod to its inspiration, of course. Along with some beachy accessories like leather sandals, a thread bracelet and faux gauge earrings, this look is both comfortable and cool enough to wear while chatting up just about anyone.
(right), this outfit teams a bright eyelet blouse with white short shorts and strappy brown leather wedges. The look is completed by a simple brown leather wrap bracelet, a pretty gold seashell ring, and a trendy gold geometric necklace. Though this outfit maintains the image of a ‘hot lifeguard’ type with its bombshell silhouette and seashell ring, it also look polished, thanks to the geometric jewelry and leather wedges. This outfit works especially well with turquoise nail polish, which pops against the color of the blouse.

4. The Good Ol’ Gramps: Chambray Shirt

Grandpa-inspired outfit: Chambray button-down, white jeans, easy sandals, wrap bracelet, pendant necklace

You can convert your denim into a lightweight chambray shirt, and paired with white skinnies, a feminine locket, leather bracelet and shoes, along with easy breezy hair. This is a great summery outfit perfect for a casual dinner or nighttime bonfire.

5. The Perfect Possibility: Four-Season Boots

Outfit incorporating versatile boots: Yellow shorts, neon tank, military boots, bold necklace, turquoise ring
Last, but by no means the least, we have what I’ve dubbed the “Perfect Possibility.” He’s got all the charm and chemistry of the summer fling, but you feel like he might have staying power. Maybe – dare we say it? – he could even be potential boyfriend material.
Just as the Perfect Possibility can transition from your warm-weather days to the cooler months, you can rock these rad lace-up boots all year round. Don a wonderfully optimistic bright tank and cheerful yellow shorts, then add some edge with the boots. Tie the outfit together with  jewelry that picks up on the colors of your top, and a hippie-inspired leather headband.

Polka dots
has dominated the spring/summer 2012 runways. It has made a huge comeback with famous designers such as Diane Von Furstenberg and Marc Jacobs offering spotted dresses ,pants and silk blouses. The print is often associated with retro 1950s  pin-up girls is a perfect complement to the femine trend.
But like any pattern you have to match its size to your body shape. The bigger and brighter the dot the less forgiving it is.Large dots will overwhelm petite frames or make slighty plum girls to look even plum,so I would suggest to go for smaller print such as pin dots. For those who are lean or lanky can afford to go for bigger dots as the round  print makes your figure look fuller.
If you are a novice start small such as by wearing polka dotted accessories.I suggest picking one signature piece and work your look around there.
You can wear a pair of polka dots sokings under a simple black to add a dash of quirkiness without going over the top.Or tie a polka dot scarf over your head but keep the rest of your outfit neutral tones to balnce the cute;girly look.
Pair it with bottoms in a brighter colour such as bright blue or red to keep your outfit from looking dull.Balance the peplum detail with slim cut pants .
If  you want to wear a blue polka dot dress avoid wearing red shoes and a hair band .The look is too retro and might ending up looking like minnie mouse. You can give it a modern spin by wearing a motocycle jacket.

BEING DRAMATIC!!!

Okay, you're no fool:being dramatic means being as loud as you can..With your outfit, your hair, your makeup. There are a few different types of dramatic styles you can fit into, though.

EmoDramatic
This is a sorta punk-rock fusion. You see this style ALOT in movies....
It looks a little like this:

So here's the drill for this style:
1. Hair cut in layers, smooth and straight at the bottom, big and loud at the top. Usually a few different colours.
2.Lots and lots of jewelwry, mostly skulls
3.Clothes usually denim, studs, skintight jeans, short skirts, doc martens and black. Throw in a tutu if you like.

Notice me Dramatic
 Usually looks like this:

1.This style is all glittery makeup, big eyeliner and dark lipstick
2.Clothes are usually business chic, bright coloured pantsuits...
3.Jewelwry mostly around the neck, thick, rhinestone covered necklaces should do.
4.Shoes are colourful and high. Heels are at least three inches thick.

Happy girl Dramatic

This is a fusion of punk and sweet girl...One of the most optimistic styles EVER!
Looks like this:

1.Puffy, tutu, like skirts/bright coloured balloon pants
2.Bright eye makeup, neon is best
3.Neon lips too
4.No streaks in hair!
5.Very simple shirt, to draw attention to skirt/pants
6.Any form of sneakers

Thats all the drama for today!!!Thanks for Reading!

Sports Luxe

Top trends for spring/summer 2012

With only a few months to go, it looked as if Olympic fever has hit the run-way. The Sport Luxe trend featured heavily at the spring/summer 2012 catwalks from colections such as the Alexander Wang, Isabel Marant and Stella McCartney.mixing elements of utility sportswear with modernist shapes and luxury fabrics; think sleek and minimal with flashes of acid brights. The utility sports mood shouldn’t be taken too literally though – it’s more about accessorising with statement high heels than casual hi-tops.Our Alexander Wang black satin-jersey dress is the perfect way to rock the sports luxe trend with its draped detailing and a nude mesh cut-out racer-back. Contrast the figure-hugging style with Alexander McQueen’s Neon Flash Shoe Boots which are sure to add a jolt of of brightness high street for sports inspired dresses and heels that are more chic than sweaty.
Block colours, go faster stripes and brights along with sporty fabrics are what you're looking for.

Print and patternA cute floral can get a little tiresome so this spring/summer's modern take on floral fashion is a breath of fresh a
The designerss  at Blumarine were spot on with their fun infusion of neons and oversized flowers, whilst the delicate but new patterns
Look for large, almost 80s style, prints on everything from leggings to scarves. Wear clashing styles together for the ultimate look.
If you prefer not to go all out (and we don't blame you) then add a dash of modern 21st century floral pattern to your footwear.
