COLORED DENIM OUTFIT INSPIRATION

You can never go wrong when pairing any colored (or patterned!) pair of pants with a black, white, cream, brown, or tan top. Any pair of bright jeans would look awesome with a white button-down dress shirt, a sheer black silk shirt, or a cream-colored cardigan sweater. This technique is a good way to feel out your new pants and ease into wearing them.

For the example outfit below, I paired coral skinnies with a chambray top — it’s like a regular denim-and-pastel outfit, with a twist! Because the base of the outfit is so classic looking, don’t be afraid to add a few bold accessories, like a snakeskin bag and turquoise jewelry. Finish with a pair of fun wedges and you’re good to go!

2. Colorblock

Colorblocking – which means pairing solid-colored, bright pieces together – has been such a hot trend over the past few seasons. It’s a bold style move for sure,

so long as you pair your colored jeans with another solid, bold color, you’ll look trendy and fun, not clashy
When colorblocking, I think it looks the coolest when you combine pastels with other pastels, and bolder colors with other bolds. In the example outfit below, notice that the three colors are all equally bold. Since the outfit is a loud statement on its own, finish the look with classic accessories, like pearl stud earrings and a classic investment timepiece.

3. Pair It with a Print

Another fun way to rock your colored jeans is to pair them with a bold print. Polka dots, nautical stripes, floral prints, and geometric prints would all look really trendy and playful!
For this outfit below, I thought mint green pants would look awesome paired with a leopard print blouse. The chocolate and black tones make the green look extra bright! Again, keep your accessories somewhat simple — crystal earrings and a mint colored bangle will look fancy, but not over-the-top. Finish with ballet flats and some pink lipstick for extra brightness!

4. Add a Springtime Jacket

The sun might be up and the sky might be blue, but for most of us, April and May weather can be unexpectedly chilly. A great way to wear your colored jeans during this transition time is to pair them with a light jacket. A jean jacket, light trench coat, cardigan, or blazer will look season-appropriate, and keep you protected from harsh winds or light rain.
For the outfit below, I paired light pink jeans with a white blazer. A floral shirt will look cute peeking out from under the jacket. Depending on what sort of event you’re going to, pair the look with heels or ballet flats. This snappy casual outfit is perfect for lunching with parents, a date, class, or even just running errands!

colored denim

This trend is so hot right now and it's a great way to bring in some color to your wardrobe for Spring! From bold brights to pale pinks, colored denim brings a nice pop to your look! You can casually wear this as a great daytime weekender look. My styling tip for the very young is to have fun with this trend and go for the very brights and bold colors and for the older fashionable crowd wanting to wear the trend go for the more toned down colors like mint greens, pale pinks, and soft blues.
How to Wear: Colorblocking is a great way to have fun with this style by pairing up complimentary colors like green with blues or nudes with pale colors. It's also fun to wear a tribal print blouse, polka dot or any other print that may have that color in it or the complimentary color. Have a colorful Spring! ♥

Jane Randall, Smart Model

Jane Randall has officially set the record straight. She has officially done away with the stereotypical rumour that all models are dumb. She is a student at the prestigous university, Princeton. She is also a model for IMG, THE modeling agency of our time. She may have lost America's Next Top Model, but she still managed to get into the pages of Vogue Italia, without Tyra Bank's help. Ann Ward, the winner of cycle 15 has also done well, but Jane's portfolio is much bigger than hers. It makes you wonder, why exactly did the judges of ANTM kick her out in the first place? GO JANE!!!!! You were my favourite!

With This model, anything is possible.

Take a tip from Taylor Swift...

Taylor Swift knows just the right way to do her makeup...Play up the eyes, be it dramatic or natural, and play down the lips. This is perfect! Try not to overdo eyes and lips at the same time, unless you are doing stage makeup. It is truthfully, very distracting when both you're eyes and lips are bursting with colour. If you are into playing with fun lip colours, just leave you're eyes alone, or maybe just use a little mascara. If you prefer doing up you're eyes, use a natural lip colour.

Lace Is Showing Up Everywhere...

Add a pair of lacey pumps to a tailored suit or wear them with a great pair of jeans... Anyway you look at it - you are going to add a bit of glam to an otherwise perhaps boring outfit.

Lace is a big trend for this spring and summer. Once only reserved for wedding dresses or formal wear, lace is showing up everywhere. Designers are adding lace to not only sporty shoes and handbags, but to everyday wear such as blouses, skirts, and dresses. Its trendy girls, but enjoy it while it lasts...

Stripes Are So Hot  !

One of the big trends this season is anything striped... Expect to see lots of stripe, not only on wonderful nautical knit tops, but dresses, handbags, and even shoes...

Check out photo above outfit of "Michael Kors" design - He used a very simple classical nautical striped top, and mixed it up with a long button cardigan, and flare a-line skirt ... The results - a chic casual look.

Let's start out with what's up with fashion color trends...

The big color trend for 2012 spring/summer is mint green... Yes you read right - mint green is the biggest color trend for the up coming season. The racks will be full of fashions that all done up in a soft whimsical version of mint green .

Another color trend being you will see this spring, especially in handbags and shoes is neon's. Such as bright blues, yellows, greens, oranges, and hot pinks.

Do you Crochet? Well it's back... Crochet vests are big this spring, maybe you can look to the back of your closet . maybe you might have a bit of a crochet number lurking.

The color that jumps out at the head of the line for this spring when it comes to neon shades, is orange! Less face it there is no other color that can make a loud fashion statement as bright orange. So need a new handbag or a great pair of shoes? Make it orange.

Belt bags are one of the great big trends... However, I am not talking "fanny packs'...Stick to the new small square flat belt bags - so cute, and less weight to carry on that shoulder.

Feet need a rest This spring kitten heels are big... The kitten heel is a good choice this spring. They are feminine, and classic, as well as comfortable.

Creamy neutrals, all done up to give you a very feminine look. Flowing pajama - styles, tunics. All meant to be classical, and again comfortable.

Think whimsical pattrens. From bird prints to deers, fruit, feathers, you name it, tops with whimsical prints are big. You will see everything from blouses to dresses all sporting Whimsical prints.

Stripes - Stripes seem to hold a place in fashion year after year. You can't go wrong wearing stripes, from head to toe...

High-Waisted flare pants are so big this spring... The pant that Katharine Hepburn made so popular, is back... I suggest you pair this style of pants with a great heel, just to give the old look a bit of flare. The new flare pant as a rule have loops for a skinny belt, so you can flash up the look with a flashy thin belt.

Fall Fashion: the DOs Transitioning Your Wardrobe From Summer to Fall

DO layer, but keep something bare.

Pile on the layers to keep yourself feeling comfy during those fall wind gusts, but keep some skin exposed, too; besides being oh so ideal for finicky temps, the look is subtle and sexy.

DO mix it up on the bottom.

Try tailored leggings with your fall separates as a surprising (and surprisingly fun!) alternative to shorts and trousers.

DO start wearing fall hues.

Channel those changing leaves! As you transition your wardrobe, start dabbling in fall’s signature hues like orange, red, rust and this ultra-pretty mustard yellow.

DO try this cool color combo.

Khaki, white and your favorite jeans are a never-fail combination—and if you invest in a gorge cropped neutral jacket like this, you’ll have about a trillion easy, stylish fall outfits on your hands.

DO stretch out sandal season.

One way to turn hard-core fall pieces into great transition looks? Pair them with sandals. Keep your toes exposed as long as you can to make the start of fall flirty

DO add tights to summer dresses.

As you transition into fall, don’t take your favorite summer frocks out of rotation! Throw on opaque tights under your pretty dress, and your friends will be too distracted by your put-together ensemble to notice just how familiar it actually is.

DO try the beach-bag thing.

Who says you have to stick your summery accessories in the back of your closet? Try sporting your neutral beach bag as your everyday carryall to up the cool factor of any basic fall outfit.

Christian Louboutin’s Take On Eco-Friendly Style Eurotrash Heel

There is just no end to the insanity (and gorgeousness) of her creations.  Louboutin’s take on eco -friendly style - no, not a cute naturally dyed ballet flat - a 6-inch pump comprised of leopard-print fabric, golden Water Snakeskin and genuine, bona fide, actual trash - straight from the Paris atelier. Yes ladies, I’m talking about actual Eurotrash.
0728-christian-louboutin-ecotrash-heel_sf.jpg
The $1,095 Ecotrash peep toe’s PVC upper “glossily coats a collage of unique fabric and paper scraps” which the gals over at Neiman Marcus’ blog says also include “pieces of thread, postage stamps, scribbled sticky notes, leftover sequins and fabric swatches from seasons past”. No two pairs are exactly the same - heck, no two shoes are exactly the same - resulting in what can only (yes, ONLY!) be described as rare Louboutin art for your feet.
So, would you  wear these cool statement-making heels? Do you think this counts as being “eco-friendly”? Does that platform math add up? Give it up!

Words of Wisdom: Always Be Positive

DIY: Brush Storage

To Assemble:

1. VASE: Ikea has affordable options, that are of great quality in the vase department. Use any shape or size that accommodates to your brush collection.

2. FILLER: Clear bean bag fill achieves a clean look. You could also use sand, rocks or coffee beans!  Fill your vase 3/4 full.

3. RIBBON: To achieve a little sophistication, wrap your ribbon around the vase and tie a bow in the centre. Pick any colour of your choice, black is always classic. Wrap the ribbon around the perimeter to measure how much you will need and lend a little extra for the bow in the centre. You can virtually find ribbon anywhere from your local craft or dollar store.

4. Lastly, arrange your makeup brushes standing up with a generous distance in between each one so brushes do not overlap.

There you have it, pretty, organized, hygienic storage for your cosmetic brushes to sleep in

Easy & Stylish Last-Minute Outfits for Busy Mornings

We’ve all been there — maybe you were up all night studying, or maybe you went to the bar on a night you really shouldn’t have. Your alarm buzzes  and you realise you dont have time to dress.
there’s a better way to Ideal with this situation than scampering out the door in the t-shirt and sweats you slept in! Spending the extra minute or two putting on a decent outfit will help you feel more awake and alert ,  and  feel more confident for the rest of the day!
with these fast outfits, you’ll never have trouble getting dressed on the fly again!

1.button down shirt, shorts and sleeek hair

Flannel shirts are awesome for several reasons: They’re comfortable, always fashionable, and will go with just about everything.
If flannel isn’t really your thing, try another sort of button down — a cotton dress shirt would look preppy and chic! Next, add a pair of shorts, and a belt – if you have the time or energy. After that, add casual sneakers — they’ll look stylish, but still be perfect for power-.. If Converse sneaks aren’t your style, boat shoes, Vans slip-ons, or Toms will serve the same purpose.
To make this look seem polished, part your hair on the side and brush it into a neat, low ponytail. Fishtail or regular braid your strands if you have an extra few minutes. Finally, add a simple pair of stud earrings — it’s a tiny accessory, but can make a world of difference when it comes to how polished you look for the day.

2.bright shirt ,bright pants ,headband

Something as simple as the colors you’re wearing can affect the level of energy you have for the rest of the day. An easy way to lighten up tired-looking eyes is to come up with a simple color-blocked outfit. You’ll feel great, and look on-trend, too!
A solid-colored v-neck will go with any other solid-colored pair of pants. Add a cardigan, blazer, or denim jacket if it’s chilly outside. Ballet flats will look polished but won’t sacrifice comfort. Mask unwashed hair by dusting it with dry shampoo and adding a headband (bonus points if it’s brightly colored also!)

3.chic wear and ponytail

For all you sporty girls, this outfit is perfect for hitting the gym ! Some of you might not agree with this, but I would SO much rather be seen in workout clothes than in that awful cut-off-pirate-sweatpants-and-flip-flop combo I see so many girls (and guys!) fall victim to. At least this way people understand that you’re going to or coming from the gym. And since you’re already dressed for it, you have no excuse not to fit in a quick workout after class!

4.dress and sandals

Another fast-and-chic outfit combination is to rock a relaxed-fit dress! Since you technically will only have one thing to put on, it might even be the fastest option you have.
Strappy sandals might take, what, 30 seconds to put on, but that half a minute is well spent because they look much more put-together than a pair of flip flops would. Greasy roots? Solve this problem by rocking a fedora — not only will your unwashed hair be hidden, but you’ll also make a bold fashion statement. Finish the look by throwing on some bangle bracelets if you have time. Watch out, though — with an outfit this cute, people will probably think you spent an hour getting ready!

The DOs and DON’Ts of Fall Fashion Trends

Here, easy-peasy shortcuts to nonstop fall fashion awesomeness. (OK, maybe that’s going a little overboard, but these style tips are pretty handy when it comes to figuring out what fashion trends to wear this fall.)

Fall Fashion Trend Tip: DON’T be afraid of bulky sweaters.

Just add a belt at the waist and show off your pretty shape

Tommy Hilfiger and Prada, fall-winter 2010

Fall Fashion Trend Tip: DO use fancy earrings to dress up wardrobe basics.

Hip girls like Stella McCartney are giving basic black a season off, wearing coats, pants and blazers in fall’s new trend

Fall Fashion Trend Tip: DO walk on the wild side with leopard-print accessories.

Just don’t wear ‘em all at once! Any ONE of these look-at-me accents would be a perfect finishing fall touch

Wear long skirts and dresses on through the cooler months—this fall, they look especially cute with cropped jackets or cinched-at-the-waist tops.

Prada, fall-winter 2010

Fall Fashion Trend Tip: DO embrace the Mad Men look.

The vintage dress is no passing trend—and for good reason: Retro-looking dresses are festive, flattering and—if you shop on Etsy—affordable, too! That’s what we call a fall trend triple whammy.

DKNY, fall-winter 2010

Fall Fashion Trend Tip: DO show off classic plaids and pleated skirts.

Avoid the total schoolgirl look by tracking down plaids and swingy skirts in sophisticated colors like black, ivory and brown

Fall Fashion Trend Tip: DON’T forget to keep a black turtleneck handy.

Wear the wardrobe basic under a summery dress to get the most out of your closet—or wear it solo with cropped black pants to get your Audrey Hepburn on
