Step 1
Section off the crown from temple to temple in a U shape with a rattail comb.














Step 2
Divide the sides behind both ears using a vertical part. Clip them aside.

























Step 3
Create a ponytail with the loose hair in back. Make it semihigh and tight.




                                                                           




Step 4
Gently tease the crown, then push hair aside. (Need a lift? Blow-dry with volumizer.)






















Step 5

















Twist and wrap one of the side sections of hair around the top of the ponytail.

















                                                                               






Step 6
Wind the hair around the elastic. Secure it with a pin. Repeat on the other side.














Step 7
















Smooth the teased crown by lightly brushing it back over the ponytail.

Pin the base of the crown to the ponytail for this cool waterfall effect. Voilà!
